Zuzi's Tail - No 12 - Zuzi's Third Christmas

Zuzi Wishes Fans Happy Christmas and Peaceful Hanukka

Zuzi wishes all her fans a very Happy Christmas, and peaceful Hanukka, and safe New Year, and hopes you will adopt a rescue dog.

I ordered new dog food from Katherine Heigl's Badlands Ranch because now that Zuzi is three years old I felt she needed extra nutrition for all that excess energy.  She is very picky about her food and if I put in green vegetables with her chicken she will pick them out of her dish and leave the dreaded veggies on the floor.  Katherine loves dogs and has several and her company produces nutritional food full of health benefits for them.

Zuzi runs my home.  She is a great little communicator and when she wants me to take her in her buggy to go for a long walk to the lake, she stands by the garage door and barks.  She seems to have a built-in clock because at exactly four o'clock she brings me the tennis ball because that is sacred play time.  I have to drop anything I'm doing at that moment because she insists on attention.

When she goes over to the pantry door and stares at it as if she were a pointer dog, that is my clue to open it and bring out all the bags of different chewies.  She will smell all five of them and then painstakingly decide which chewy is today's delight.

If I start singing, she will chime in.  She doesn't like the Happy Birthday song because that is too low, she prefers when I sing an aria from an opera so she can howl at the high notes.  She watches me carefully and when I take a breath she copies me, then when I hit a high C, she can howl along. Sometimes she will growl at the end to add her own encore, even though the composer saw no need for one.

Zuzi is half Shi-Tzu and half toy poodle. She has the sweet disposition of the Shi-Tzu but the intelligence and playfulness of the poodle breed.  She is also very stubborn and wants things done her way, she will not take no for an answer.  She is also a good guard dog and barks nonstop when an interloper deer grazes in her backyard, for it is hers alone.

This Christmas Santa will bring her new toys which she delights in tearing from the wrapping paper scattering it all over the floor with the rest of her toys causing a hazard for any human sidestepping the balls.

I know Zuzi wishes you all a festive Christmas as she likes to impart her happiness to everyone.
